Job Description
The Lead Specialist – Accounting role involves handling key accounting processes, supporting period-end close activities, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The position requires coordination with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting issues, maintain strong internal controls, and support audits. This role plays a vital part in delivering reliable financial information for business decision-making.
Responsibilities
Manage accounting transactions and journal entries
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances
Support internal and external audits with required documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on accounting and reporting matters
Identify and implement process improvements
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies

Experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliations
