Job Description
The Project Controller will be responsible for financial planning, monitoring, and controlling of projects to ensure alignment with business objectives. The role involves tracking project costs, revenues, margins, and cash flow while supporting project managers with accurate financial insights. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
- Track project costs, revenues, margins, and variances on a regular basis
- Ensure accurate project financial reporting in line with internal and statutory requirements
- Support project managers with financial analysis and decision-making inputs
- Monitor cash flow, billing milestones, and project profitability
- Identify financial risks and opportunities within projects and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
Skills
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of project controlling, cost management, and financial analysis
- Proficiency in ERP systems, project management tools, and MS Excel
- Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Familiarity with financial reporting standards and internal controls
