Job Description
The Accounting Associate R2R role focuses on supporting end to end record to report activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The role requires adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and timelines while working closely with global finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
Responsibilities
- Perform record to report activities including journal entries and month end close
- Prepare and review balance sheet and account reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal control requirements
- Support preparation of financial statements and management reports
- Identify and resolve accounting variances and issues
- Support internal and external audit requirements
- Participate in process improvement and standardization initiatives
Skills
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and R2R processes
- Experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliations
- Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools
- Knowledge of internal controls and compliance frameworks
