Job Description

The Project and Software Capability FP and A Team Lead will be responsible for driving financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for project-based and software capability functions. The role involves partnering with business and project leaders to provide financial insights, ensure cost control, and support strategic decision-making. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to lead and develop a high-performing finance team.

Responsibilities

Lead FP and A activities including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
Provide financial insights and analysis to support project and software capability decisions
Monitor project costs, margins, and financial performance against targets
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, delivery, and leadership teams
Drive process improvements and standardization across FP and A activities
Prepare management reports, dashboards, and variance analysis
Mentor and manage a team of finance professionals
Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and governance standards

Technical Skills

Strong expertise in FP and A, budgeting, and forecasting
Experience in project finance and software or technology-driven environments
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
