Job Description
The Record to Report Accountant role involves handling end-to-end R2R activities including journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end closing. The position supports accurate financial statements while ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and client requirements. The role requires coordination with internal stakeholders and adherence to defined service level agreements.
Responsibilities
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and provisions
- Conduct balance sheet and account reconciliations
- Support preparation of financial statements and management reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, controls, and procedures
- Support internal and external audit requirements
- Resolve accounting queries and maintain documentation
- Participate in process improvement and standardization initiatives
Skills
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of record to report and general ledger processes
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools
