Job Description
The Accountant – R2R role is responsible for handling core accounting activities related to general ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, and compliance. The position supports accurate and timely financial statements while ensuring adherence to internal controls and accounting standards. The role involves working closely with global stakeholders and supporting continuous process improvements within the finance function.
Responsibilities
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities within defined timelines
- Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Support preparation of financial statements and management reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit processes
- Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global finance teams
Skills
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of record to report processes
- Good understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting
- Experience in general ledger accounting and reconciliations
